There have been many books written about "how to start a new business". And we are bombarded with the word entrepreneur and all the definitions of it these days.

There is a kind of mysticism associated with startups and there are a lot of superstitions.

There are a many courses at various institutions that aim to teach entrepreneurial skills. Many of these courses are taught by pure academics who have never actually started anything beyond arguments in the staff break room.

It is clear from most economic analysis that if we are to transcend our economic woes we need a veritable fleet of well run startup companies.

In reviewing some of the excellent seed accelerator programs, such as Hackfwd, Techstars, SeedCamp, Y combinator and SmartCamp, it is possible to find a variety of programs that are focused on finding talent and growing it.

But what happens to all the people who miss out, because they have no resources, yet still want to start their own company or charity from scratch?
