Implement and verify the EG requirements that are called for in the PRS.
During the implementation of the product try to prototype as much as possible (Fail Early, Fail Often - FEFO) so that most of the AHA! (High five, Dude!), O-O-Oh No-o-o! (Slap forehead and blame Dude!), bugs, incorrect assumptions, errors, etc. are detected and corrected early in the process - it's much less expensive and less time-consuming in the long run. See:
Verifying that the product has been correctly designed (including all EG claims) is accomplished through various testing regimes such as Engineering Verification Testing (EVT) and Design Verification Testing (DVT) in this stage. For testing details see:
