PHASE 6 - Pre-production & Validation

{Design the production processes, complete pre-production of product and validate the product.}

    Since the product design is now verified as correctly designed, the production process design can be completed, implemented and tested in this phase. Here is where the EG-influenced processes are carefully tested.

    Once again, continue to look for improvements in the processes by empowering the people who actually do the work.

    Waste

      Implement and validate the production processes per the PRS and MRD.


    Consumer / Environmental health

      Implement and validate the production processes per the PRS and MRD.


    Limited resources & energy

      Implement and validate the production processes per the PRS and MRD.


    Product safety & liability

      Implement and validate the production processes per the PRS and MRD.


    When the production processes (procurement, assembly, end-of-line and QC tests, regulatory and QA tests, etc.) have been validated, product from the ratified production line can be validated to the requirements stipulated in the MRD. Successfully completing this means that the correct product has been designed. Such testing necessarily includes all Beta, Field and Qualification test requirements for EG management.
