"We are a team."

I've seen more people who have a team - in the sense of - it's my team. "I agree, let's work as a team… but I wanna be the leader and be creator of all ideas that are worth anything".

"We are client focused."

But… many times only the sales people ever see or are even allowed to talk with the client.

"We are a Mission Critical company."

So which companies' missions are not critical?

"Experienced (read "older") workers carry a lot of baggage."

Of course - but, it's the result of experience; besides most of the baggage is positive and useful. In any case experienced workers usually know their baggage well and how to handle it whether it's good or bad. Inexperienced workers develop baggage and they don't even know it. Then they can't or won't handle it appropriately most the time.
