ENGLISH I DEUTSCH

In downturn and even more in a crisis especially those get into trouble who overlooked changements (the changes) in their environment. Such changements can be of technological nature, but they can also be changements of customer plans or behavior as well as new laws or other political impacts. The actual economical situation can give us impetus for future management. Future is not foreseeable, but all of us are involved in designing the future, consciously or unconsciously. Why not use future management to identify opportunities and to avoid risks? Micic developed his "Eltville Model"5 for this purpose. It starts with future radar and creates a basis to adjust already existing visions and strategies or to develop a new strategy and concrete projects.

Future management in combination with focusing on our individual strengths and the specific needs of our target group is a helpful step to adjust our plans and actions in order to escape consequences of the recession and to prepare ourselves for project launches in better times. Economists and politicians agree that the actual global crisis will change our world and our business. Let us learn from nature. The English naturalist Darwin realized and demonstrated already in the 19th century that all species of life have evolved over time from common ancestors through the process he called natural selection or evolution, driven by environmental changes. His well accepted theory has been carried over to business strategy by Mewes.5

We have to align ourselves to our constantly changing environment. The business environment consists of customers, employees, markets, politics, and technologies. There is only one way to survive: by constant innovation.
